Hola, bienvenidos a la clase de Kindergarten!

          Our special students of the month for February are Olivia and Jeremy.  This month we will be doing many activities surrounding Groundhog's Day and Valentine's Day.  We will be learning all about what a groundhog is, where they live, what they eat, and so on.  We will also be creating various pictures of hearts, and making Valentines.  Don't forget about our field trip to Justin Trails on February 19th.  Permission slips must be in by February 15th.  Also, we will be starting our unit on dinosaurs soon.  I encourage that any of the books that are sent home with your students on dinosaurs that you read with them.  This will help enforce the knowledge they are learning in school, while also providing good literary practice.  Another reminder that school will NOT be in session on February 23rd.  These dates can all be found on our February calendar.
